I picked up meditation nearly two years ago and just like anything else, it takes time to master, but I can see the benefits. The many hours I spend training for the Transrockies Ultra Marathon force me to spend time alone with myself, having many thoughts and feelings circling around. Often I catch myself “getting lost” so I decided to practice mindfulness meditation while I run which often makes the experience very intense.
